Styled in ultra soft lambskin with a range of hues from army green to pastel mint green, a natural and light green woven leather detail beautifully crisscrosses the bag's body adding depth and interest. In keeping with the woven look, Chicane's double handle is also woven with unraveled strands of leather falling against its sides, adding unique appeal. A zipper and woven fold over flap secures your contents while the interior is lined in creamy suede with a zippered pocket and two open pockets.

Lanvin Mini Pop Leather Shoulder Bag

Yesterday's bag was girly in an understated way but today's is anything but. This Lanvin Mini Pop Leather Shoulder Bag is anything but subtle with it's bright pink hue, oversized grosgrain bow embellishment, and chunky gold chain-and-ribbon shoulder strap. It's a basic fold-over design done in rich rose-colored leather with stitching detail and an oversized turn-lock closure. Other features include a large designer-stamped hanging tag, a black twill lining, and a smaller than you'd expect size of just 6"x6"x2". A great bag but be wary of what you wear it with -- keep things simple or you'll risk evoking a little 80s Madonna. $1,150

Versace Patent-Leather Shoulder Bag, Handbag of the Day

There's certainly no missing this bag, especially if you carry it against a little black dress. Versacedoes metallic in bright jewel-toned blue and highly polished patent leather on this Patent-Leather Small Shoulder Bag. The bag boasts a chunky silvertone chain shoulder strap, turn-lock closure on the fold-over front, double patch pockets on the back, and (the best part) a functional over-sized hinge for a top. The interior is lined in brown suede, which is pretty and always luxe to the touch, but I'm not crazy about the color choice. Nevertheless this bag is a gorgeous alternative to carrying a clutch. $1,895

Intrecciato Papier and Snakeskin Bag, Handbag of the Day

Bottega Veneta takes the classic silver clutch and gives it a dose of texture and unique style with silver intrecciato leather and metallic papier. The front of the Intrecciato Papier and Snakeskin Clutch is home to a large metal scarab beetle that doubles as a turn-lock clasp for the fold-over flap front. The surface under the flap is lined in snakeskin and there's an etched metal cutout around the scarab and weave detail on the bottom front flap. No shoulder strap for true clutch styling, the interior is lined in gray suede, and it has one zippered pocket inside. $2,250
